Implementing Principle Centred Choice

Make choices that align with your principles. How can you do that? As follows:

Ask with Intent

Questions you can ask yourself whilst keeping in mind your integrity and acting based on your identified principles or more simply, keeping your mission statement in mind.

1. “What’s the best use of my time right now?”
2. “What’s most important right now?”
3. “What is life asking of me?”
4. “What’s the right thing to do now?”
   

Afterwards its important to also ask the following questions:

• Is this in my Circle of Influence?
• Is it in my Center of Focus?
  

Because you may think the best use of your time is to end world hunger but it is not in your circle of influence or center of focus so it is an unrealistic choice but a more manageable goal here is to volunteer in the local soup kitchen for a day this week.
