Part of experiencing anxiety and panic is getting caught up in the thoughts. We forget that we are not our thoughts and hold the ability to distance ourselves from the thoughts. If you are starting to feel overwhelmed or anxious, this is the activity for you. 

The following short activity will teach you cognitive diffusion (the ability to separate yourself from your thoughts). Please make yourself comfortable in a quiet environment where you can focus on the activity. You may do this before bed or whenever you need some relief from anxiety.
