Glen Burnie, MD

I am glad that you decided to take this first step in reclaiming or rediscovering things about yourself. Whether you have experienced therapy before or have never spoken with a therapist before this is an important and potentially intimidating moment.

About My Clients

I have worked in counseling for over five years with men, women, gender neutral clients for over 5 years. I have worked with children, teens and adults across the age spectrum. I have helped clients manage their different traumas, confront addiction and navigate the many faces of anxiety and depression.

The client's I work with are usually at a cross roads in their life and are looking to make meaninful changes. Some of my clients are looking for a listening ear and small steps to move forward. Either reasoning is valid and a worthy cause for therapy.

About My Approach:

Understanding how a multitude of mental health concerns can potentially relate to an individual client from their different perspectives and cultures has been an important focus on my work. Empowering my clients as they process and explore these issues is a critical step of reclaiming the pleasures, joys and positive thinking in life. Working at the pace of the client, creating an alliance as well as rapport can further increase success in this scary moment. My main concern with therapy is meeting the client where they are in their walk with mental health and coming from a non-biased or judgmental space. Therapy can be hard and can require a lot of hard work but once that is started there is a wealth of places a person can go. I strive to be as interactive as possible when engaging in therapy because building a rapport an alliance is a crucial step in the therapeutic relationship.

What I Can Offer:

Currently only messages through the 7 Cups organization and as their services expand so will the services I can offer.
