Steven Plummer is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree from Loyola University Maryland, specializing in trauma-focused therapy and men’s issues. He provides direct and honest feedback, combined with empathy and support, to facilitate personal change and growth in his clients. Steven believes that building trust and a strong therapeutic relationship is essential for effective counseling. He is particularly dedicated to aiding first responders, including police, fire, EMS, and military personnel, offering a confidential and supportive environment to address challenges such as job-related stress, critical incidents, substance misuse, and trauma. With extensive training in trauma-related disorders and modalities such as EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Psychodynamic therapy, Steven ensures that his clients receive comprehensive care. As a Director at GBCC and Oasis, he strives to create a safe space where individuals can be themselves and receive genuine, caring feedback. The practice also offers Urgent Care Evaluation and Short-Term Counseling to meet the immediate needs of clients.
