Alison Rhodes specializes in working with adolescents, bringing 14 years of extensive experience in building therapeutic relationships with clients aged eight to nineteen. She passionately supports her clients by listening, offering strategies, and cultivating skills for a diverse array of challenges. These challenges may include coping with traumatic events, PTSD, grief and loss, eating disorders and body image issues, as well as improving interpersonal skills among peers and between parents and children. Alison’s expertise extends to addressing ADHD, depression, anxiety, parental separation and divorce, sexual abuse, suicide and self-harm, drug and alcohol abuse, mood disorders, personality disorders, anger management, postpartum depression, and stress management. Through her belief in the power of listening and open discussions about how thoughts, feelings, and actions interrelate, Alison empowers her clients with the skills necessary for positive life changes. In addition to her services in the Bayfield office, she also provides on-site therapy at the Bayfield and Ignacio schools as needed, ensuring that help is accessible to those in her community.
