I like to think what it'd be like to live in a community of women.....

mariefeelinglost April 30th

I wish there were more communities/villages for women who have trauma or other things. A place that is lead and taken care of by women for women. image how beautiful of a place it would be... a place secluded enough that we'd wander under the night sky and not be afraid. That'd we'd feel safe in our own walls. Be able to lead our own lives but still be a part of a community.

Whether a woman was more feminine or more masculine, their work would all have equal worth. And we'd all take care of one another...

I don't know... seems dumb to think about such things but they often make me feel better when I'm alone or afraid... to think that such a community could be made some day.

@mariefeelinglost it is not dumb to desire a community or a space for only women, you deserve to feel safe and heard also your feelings are valid, untill such space can be found in real life you are very welcome to this safe  community  where you can share or talk about your experiences, without getting judged!

@mariefeelinglost It's not dumb at all to dream of a community where women support and uplift each other. In fact, it's inspiring. Thank you for sharing your vision with us!

It's okay to think about this. But afterall, in a society where there are two genders present, there has be some roles and responsibilities set for both parties to manage that said society well.

Interestingly enough, there's an African village called Umoja in Kenya, a village where only women are allowed to live in. It has a dark backstory as you why it was made which might be triggering. You may check it out.
