Women’s change of life
I’m 52, still having my periods, but, I started having hot flashes, insomnia, mood swings, night sweats… etc etc a year or two ago.
I’ve started hormones and noticed many “symptoms” coming back.
My doc has upped the hormones.
My thing is… how do I stop from feeling like I’m going crazy? It’s overwhelming.
i call this stage in my life UNPUBERTY.
All the hormonal discrepancies and highs and lows of a teen but in reverse.
My emotions become overwhelming and if feel intolerant.
I’m having a hard time.
anyone?

I’m really sorry to hear that you’re going through such a tough time. It sounds incredibly overwhelming to deal with all these symptoms and emotional highs and lows. It’s completely understandable to feel like you’re on an emotional rollercoaster when your body is going through such significant changes.
It might be helpful to continue discussing your symptoms with your doctor to adjust your treatment plan as needed. Sometimes, sharing your experiences with others who have gone through similar stages can also provide support and understanding.
Please know that we’re here for you. If you need to talk or just want someone to listen, don’t hesitate to reach out. Taking care of yourself and finding support during this time is really important.
Hang in there, and take care 🌷
@SeekForgiveness730. I had a rough perimenopause (the years before menopause). At the time I didn’t find anything that helped with the emotional roller coaster. Lately I have read that they are using some antidepressants for menopause and perimenopause. If I would have known about it at the time I probably would have tried that.
