Hi, my name is Abby. I’ve been going through a rough patch for a couple months now and joined this community to seek help, guidance and to really just feel heard and validated. I’ve felt like I’ve hit rock bottom and just ready to get back up and get my life sorted out but have come to terms that I need a little more guidance and motivation than inspirational youtube videos lol
@Abbyd823 Hi Abby I was the same way when I joined. You are going to meet some great people and the listeners are wonderful too. One thing that helps me is the steps and the journal. I try to write in the journal when I wake up and before I go to bed. It helps when you write down your feelings. I also go for walks at night to help get out and if you keep your mind occupied with anything and everything the depression can't attack. Hopefully this helps you.
Thank you for the advice. I’ve tried journaling before but can’t seem to stay consistent with it but I will give it another go around.
