craving for hugggggggg

I remember when we used to hug each other all the time. Seems like we don't as much. I used to be able to hug my therapists until there were laws passed about it due to abuse and Boundary issues between therapist and clients. Also I used to belong to a support group where we used to hug each other and then we didn't as much or only some people got hugs and usually I was the one who didn't get any. Sometimes my roommate and I still hug but his hugs are still guarded. That hurts. I don't know who wants to hug me but I just want to say this. We all deserve them we all need them. There's even been studies about babies who die when they don't get held. I'm sure that people of all ages die spiritually when they don't get enough hugs. Hugs are a human need! Let's punch thru our fear, set healthy boundaries--- and give and get some more hugs now! Carol
