Hell yeah, glad you were able to find a good community on discord. Thank you for sharing that, because it reminded me that I have great friends who are always on discord, but I've been isolating. I think I'm going to hop in some time soon and get back into it and game with my bros

2021 was, I think, the most difficult year of my life. My mother was diagnosed with cancer... but the good thing that happened this year that I want to share, is that she is kicking cancer's ass right now. She's doing really well and all treatment has been very effective. I'm so relieved by this, and despite all the other terrible things that have happened last year, at least I still have my mom.
So so so happy to hear, she's fighting so well! All the love, strength and blessings y'alls way! ❤ @Amumununu

Good things that happened to me in 2021:
-I escaped my abusive family with the help of my best friend.
-I fell in love with another one of my friends, who is now my boyfriend.
-I have been able to expand upon my relationships with people who genuinely care about me.
-I got to travel outside of my home state for the first time ever, going to the opposite side of the country for a week.
-I have met and befriended even more wonderful people.
-I got to go to the beach again for the first time in over 15 years.
-I got to try out opera cake for the first time ever when I have been craving for the chance to do so for several years. (Note: opera cake is AMAZING.)
-I got to go to my first concert (Modest Mouse) ever.
In short, I've gotten to experience so many things that I thought would either never happen or happen someday far off in the distance. 2021 was a painful year for me. But it was also the year when the pain started lessening.

I took some very big steps spiritually, got my first job (other than babysitting) and made some new friends :)

I got married and conceived our first child!
I became comfortable with my body and I am a lot more confident. I am slowly becoming the person I want to be. Stay strong everyone, sending you all hugs :) <3

I got a new job, I lost 5 pounds, I moved from Florida to New York to stay with my mother.
I got my first safe job, after two dissapointing experiences
I decided to finally get my degree (I'm about to start classes!)
I went back to therapy.
My boyfriend and I got a kitty (accidentally 🐱 lol)
I spent the whole year in painting classes (one of my dreams)
I have been able to spend lots of time outside the city
Pd. what a beautiful thread, i felt my year had been horrible and it was not at all!!
