Question of the week: Calming down

This week's Icebreaker is about calming (:

I have posted two other 'Question of the Weeks'.


Question 1:

What is your favorite way to calm down?


Question 2:

Do you have someone you talk to when you are calming down?/Do you like to talk to someone when calming down?


Question 3:

Do you listen to music/noise/sound while calming down?


Question 4.

If you had to give someone advice about calming down, what would you tell them?



My answers:

Q1: I like to sit in my room, in the dark with my windows open so I get fresh air.

Q2: I don't really like to talk to people unless I'm talking to my best friend about what is happening.

Q3: Sometimes I listen to music on low

Q4: Make sure if you are feeling upset, try your hardest to go somewhere quiet.

1) Watch comedies or stand-ups. Laughter is the best medicine!

2) Hmm. I prefer writing in my journal honestly!

3) Music definitely helps.

4) Find out what coping approaches work best for you. It can be a trail and error kind of thing. But, finding what works well, is worth it.

I like that! I'm glad you have your ways of coping ๐Ÿ˜Š

And no need to thank me! I needed to think about it myself and I like helping others to know what they need. Hence the last question

@MissysRider07 My favorite way to calm down is getting in touch with nature and doing self-care. It always helps me clear my mind. When I am emotionally charged I may listen to a song to help me project these feelings. The person I talk to in order to calm down is my boyfriend and it makes me feel better 99% of the time. I would suggest to people to do self-care every time they are upset and make sure to be surrounded by loved ones to give them strength!

Im glad you have your ways that help you! If this was posted about 2 weeks ago, I would say talking to my girlfriend helps a lot- but uh- sadly she is my ex now- but im good now lol
