I'm too anxious to vent
I was searching for free online therapy, most of them weren't free and I discovered this app through Reddit, I immediately downloaded it because it's free and I wanted to talk to someone but I'm too anxious to talk to a listener and I only talk to the ai bot, I'm afraid I'll come of as awkward or stupid, that I might embarrass myself, or the listener will think I'm overreacting over nothing.

I will simply talk about it here so anyone can help, I know my problem is small and silly compared to others, maybe I'm even overreacting..I did something.. I know in the west it is something normal and not big but it is for me, I stopped, thankfully, but I cannot forgive myself and just.. move on? I can't go to sleep without overthinking it, I am scared of going back to school because I might just overthink instead of focusing..
If what you have to say has caused you this much distress, it is not awkward or stupid. Fear of embarrassment could keep you from sharing. It is scary to be vulnerable, but this community embraces the courage it takes to share your feelings.
This is encouraging, thank you. I will try to get over the feeling of embarrassment.

To DM someone, click on their profile. There will be a paper airplane alongside "Leave Message" beneath their username. Click that, and type out your greeting.
Keep in mind that teens may DM
fellow teens, but teens are only able to DM adults who have gone through
a verification process to speak with those between the ages of 13 - 17
for the safety of that age group. The same rule applies to chat
requests. Teen Listeners speak with teens, and verified adults speak
with teens. The forum has a different set of rules.
