Hello Lovelies, wishing you all a fabulous Friday heartheart
Firstly I would like to congratulate each and everyone of you for successfully completing another week. Each day presents us with numerous opportunities and I hope all of us will strive to make the best of the gifts we are presented each day. With that being said, I would like to begin the check in on a brief discussion on the importance of time management.

“A common saying we have all heard growing up is that "time and tide does not wait for anybody", which means that time does not wait for anybody, everyone should walk along over time. The life of a human is impeccably divided into patterns of time. The hours, days, months, and years are so beautifully arranged, that it motivates human beings to further organize their routine in a positive manner. This brings into the picture the concept of time management, which should be a part of every individual's life.

Here I have arranged a list of tips that we can all put in place to sway the concept of time management

  1. Set/Know your time check : Knowing very well the tasks that are to be completed within a day and a clear understanding of their intensities and duration and arranging them according to your personal efficacy for an efficient day ;)

  2. Having a TO-DO List: This is by far, one of the greatest tips that really helped me in planning out my day(since I am a super forgetful person, who forgets what is to be done). With all the tasks written down for the day and setting reminders through a phone, laptop or the classic list on the fridge will help you to complete all your tasks and save more time.

  3. Plan ahead : Planning ahead is a critical part of time management. Ideally, we should plan ahead for the week or at least the day before. When we know exactly what needs to get done for the day or week, we will stay organised and focused.

  4. Avoid Perfection: Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good, as they say. Avoid over analyzing everything you do. That doesn't mean be careless, however. Do your best – always. But perfection can drag you down, so don't think about it. Once you've finished a task and given it your best, you have to move on :)

Hope these pointers will really help all of us in being efficient with a pinch of silliness being entertained as well :)
With that being said, let's end this check in with a couple of reflective response question and do note that you're free to respond to these questions

enlightenedHow are you feeling today and how has the week been ?

enlightenedHow do you prioritize your tasks ?

enlightenedHow do you limit distractions?

@giggleZebra2708 Hey :) Its nice to meet you

enlightenedHow are you feeling today and how has the week been ? Today has been alittle all over - anxiety is a problem today

enlightenedHow do you prioritize your tasks ? There's a routine for most things. Certain things done on certain days and a daily chore list

enlightenedHow do you limit distractions? That's the hard part - I'm not really sure if they're actually limited or just worked around tbh lol. As long as the needs to get done stuff actually gets done - I guess I can't complain too much

Thank you for the check in :) Take care

@mytwistedsoul I understand and it must be tough, but I am so proud of you for all the steps you are taking to make it better so kuddos to you for taking the steps❤️ That’s lovely to hear that you follow a schedule and maintain a chore list, looks like you’ve been doing an amazing job with it. ❤️😊 Yes I do agree with you sometimes it’s quite hard to differentiate but we do seem to make things work around it. You’re absolutely right about as long as things get done at the right time with utmost dedication, we might need to complain😁 Thank you so much for sharing and have an amazing weekend ❤️

@giggleZebra2708

Hi, thank you for the nice post on time management.

How are you feeling today and how has the week been ? Feeling confused, but less than the rest of the week. Week has been roughest week in so many years.

enlightenedHow do you prioritize your tasks ? 1) by deadline 2) by complexity and how much time it will take to get ti all done 3) at best times to do accomplish them based on when the business is open, time of the day, when I am best able to work on it, etc.

enlightenedHow do you limit distractions? turrn off all sounds/noise to focus better 2) do tasks when alone 3) of course, when not dissociating and getting triggered.

@Amelia2324 I am so sorry to hear that, I believe that the roughest of days soon bloom into smoothest and the best ones. I am so proud that despite the happenings of the week, you’re pushing through to get things done and that’s a winner attitude❤️❤️ I love your approach of task segregation and I believe that this segregation allows us to further care for the complexity and intensity of tasks that are to be completed. Will definitely try following your approach ❤️ Yes that’s a good point made, noises do seem to distract. Focusing on tasks is made much more easier this way. Doing tasks alone helps us to concentrate so much better. I completely agree with your last point as well, we are to focus when we can commit and dedicate for a brief period of time. Episodes of any sort need self attention before we stress ourselves with both of the situations. Thank you so much for sharing and take care ❤️

@giggleZebra2708 Thank you for the interesting post, has made me think about my priorities. Unfortunately at the moment time is an issue for me. For some reason thinking too far ahead seems to send me into a panic so I can only plan ahead a day or two. This week has been tough, a real rollercoaster. My emotions and focus are rather erratic. I have tasks that I have to do on certain days and they are kind of set in stone and that routine helps me. Anything else I achieve is a bonus. I kind of need distractions at the moment to keep me functioning. Otherwise I can become too lost in my own thoughts. Thank you for this, it's helpful to voice these things. Maybe I can focus on some more tasks today. Take care and wishing you a great weekend

How am I feeling today? Confused and exhausted. Confused and overwhelmed by thoughts about a recent video interview with the police, exhausted by my brain choosing to relive it all drip by drip. The week's been one of the hardest I've ever been through, having to describe the abuse in excruciating detail to the police. Really took it out of me. Feel really disgusted by the memories of what happened, sad and depressed at how my childhood sounded to me when retelling it all. How do I prioritize my tasks? Normally by maintaining lists, thinking ahead and taking a step back to ensure I don't miss something. How do I limit distractions? By keeping insanely busy with work. I'm a workaholic as it's the only thing at the moment that keeps my mind off the negative, self perpetuating cycle of dark thoughts.

@Grits1910

My heart goes out to you for what you've had to go through with this week. That is beyond any way to properly describle just how difficult all that was. You did very well sharing how it has been for you with it. I just know that it is so horrible to go through all that and have to try to deal with how you feel afterwards. I wish I could give you some much needed relief from all this and more that you deal with all the time.

@giggleZebra2708 Hi Zebra, thanks for the lovely post and resources!

enlightenedHow are you feeling today and how has the week been ?
I am okay. This week has been hectic for me, so I am doing my best to do as much self care as possible in between work, studies, and other responsibilities.

enlightenedHow do you prioritize your tasks ?
Still trying to figure that out lol. I try to focus on what is most urgent.

enlightenedHow do you limit distractions?
Also trying to figure this out lol. If needed, I go to a quiet place where I am by myself.

I am feeling pretty good today for the first time in a while. I burnt myself out the last few months and ended up ill. It is amazing that if we don't make time for ourselves our bodies have a way of letting us know. I prioritize according to how I can accomplish the most in a time period. If I can cross several things off my list by multitasking I often tackle those jobs first because it motivates me to keep going. Music helps me limit distractions.

@amicableMelon590 It’s amazing to hear that from you and I hope you’re recovering well ❤️❤️ Well said Melon and I wish we all do realize our body’s importance and to seclude ample time for relaxations and self care ❤️ That’s a brilliant approach, looking at the tasks and then reflecting on your efforts and skills seems smart to me and I hope to put it to use ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Music is one of my favorite tools tooo, I turn on classical music and it helps me relax and focus more efficiently Thank you so much for sharing ❤️❤️❤️

Today was off to a rough start, I only had a few hours of sleep and had a nightmare, but I'm trying to stay positive. I prioritize my tasks by putting them into a list, with what needs to be done first at the very top. Im not really sure how to limit most distractions, as long as I'm in a quiet environment not much will distract me.

Having a bit of a rough evening. Kept denying alters to be out earlier, then, other problems happenend. Now, I am feeling pretty down and upset at myself. I know that I made my decisions by not allowing them out and denying them the opportunities when all they wanted to do was to write to someone earlier. It seems very small, but it has had some upset at me. I am also dealing with another upsetting issue. I am pretty upset at myself!!!!! I want to deal with this better.
