Let go and release

Sunthruclouds December 9th, 2022

Looking back on this year and stepping into a brand new year, is there something you would like to let go of? There's still time.

It could be anything. Creating big changes take time but maybe the first step is becoming aware, to take a baby step forward. Feel free to share any other reflections or feelings about this year, unrelated to this, if you feel comfortable to do so.

Just some examples of things to let go of.

• Clutter in your home

• Self critical thoughts

• Guilt/anger/resentment

• Someone you want to forgive. Maybe yourself.

• Something you have been carrying too long.

• Toxic people/environments/habits

@Sunthruclouds

this year has been inside changes for myself learned a lot about myself and i am different then i thought..... i let go of old ways of thinking of things and embraced the chaos ...... I found there is NO going back as things much like waves on the ocean will never be in that exact time or place again

I wish i had seen these things many years ago but we should not question why just step through the door of life when it opens for us.

Something that I'm aiming to let go of before the end of this year is the clutter that has collected in the corners of my home. I've been slowly going through the "to do later" list, the things I've put off and procrastinated. It might not be a lot each day, but tidying up and reorganizing invites more calm into my home.

I'm also letting go of the old me, shedding invisible layers of myself that I don't feel align with the person I'm becoming. I will probably not be done by next year but this is an ongoing process for all of us, I think. 🌸

It's okay if the things you want to let go of, are too personal to write here. You can write them in a notebook or in the notes on your phone. It can be refreshing to give yourself the space to reflect about the things that no longer serve you and create space for new things to come. ❤
