World Food Day

World Food Day is an annual call to action by the United Nations on 16 October each year. It is an annual reminder that food insecurity and malnourishment remain widespread. We can help people who do not have sufficient food to maintain health, but we can also become more aware of the food we are eating. Eating foods that are produced in our country can also help reduce transportation costs and consequesnces.
