@soulsings if there's a silver lining to me being stuck in hospital, is when I get home I'm gonna be so excited to talk with my son (in heaven) and decorate for xmas 😁 and just maybe I'll be home in time to celebrate the carehomes thanksgiving dinner😁😁😁😁

I recently became a Muslim and we believe that the life on this earth is a test. Every time I experience hardship I know it's temporary and as long as I keep God in my heart, I know I'm closer to the ultimate reward, heaven. It has helped me TREMENDOUSLY in every situation and nothing ever really seems that bad anymore. It has made me a more grateful, patient person 🌺

I usually look at what I can learn from this situation. To take your example about losing a job, the silver lining could be learning what I would need to do differently next time, maybe seeing an opportunity to explore a different field of work or taking the opportunity to go back to school to get a degree.

Firstly, this is just an amazing question! Thank you for giving us all an opportunity of introspection!
For me, whenever I experience a silver lining, I look for two things that I can make out of it.
1. I look for Hope when things are really unfortunate. And hope comes when we have purpose in lives
2. In a neutral state of mind, I try to find what could have been done in this situation from my side to be aware of it in the future!
