So 2 weeks ago my dad suddenly got a heart attack. And the tests show that he has to do a bypass surgery in few months. He is stable under medication now. But my mind is so full of negative thoughts where i go through same thought process and have panic attacks.

Im 20 years old and my medical entrance exam is in around a month. I can't study straight without being distracted by these thoughts . This exam is really important for my future..

Anyone has some advices for me?😥

@Achali

I'm really sorry to hear about your dad's heart attack. That must be incredibly overwhelming for you right now. It's completely understandable that you're feeling a lot of negative thoughts and experiencing panic attacks; that’s a lot to handle, especially when you're trying to focus on your studies.

It’s important to acknowledge how challenging this situation is for you. Your feelings are valid, and it’s okay to seek support. I can imagine how hard it must be to concentrate on your exam preparation with everything that's happening. Please know that you’re not alone in this, and it’s okay to take things one step at a time.

We are here to listen and support you, please remember you are always welcome to reach out to a listener for support! <3

@Achali

Do it for your dad. Give him a peace of mind and really, all the best!
