Being Organized: Share your tips here!
Organizing things can be very hard for most of us since it requires a lot of work. But there are ways to actually make organizing very fun and easy.
When you organize, you have to do it as a whole so that it would be easier for you to do things in the successive days/weeks or months that would pass.
You have to fix every single thing in your room (or house) and you have to finish everything at once or else it will be harder. This means that there would be a total makeover.
Why is organization important?
Because it motivates us to actually prepare for the things that we need to do. It makes things easier. It gives us a good environment and its really nice to wake to an organized room.
TIPS:
Throw/Donate/Recycle
When you organize, youll notice that you dont use some of the stuffs you own anymore. Well we can do something about that! Its a time to be nice thats why we can donate some of the stuff that we have no future use for like clothing and old bags because many people out there cant even buy clothes thats why we can give it to them. Some things can be used for recycling like shoe boxes so dont throw those away! But there are those things that are too old and too rusty and we can now throw them out. You can have bins or boxes where you can separate those things.
Classify
As you go over your things you should allot a place to classify your things. This is mainly to help you know where to put what.
Clean
Clean everything. Dust everything out. Clean those make-ups. Clean you brushes and combs. Clean/change your bed.
Containers
Once you did all of those, its now time for the fun part! Containers! You should have somewhere to put each thing. Shoe boxes will come in handy! You can just cover your shoe box with the paper (using glue), may it be plain or printed as long as you like it, and you can use it as containers for books or make-up or craft things or basically anything! You can also put label on each one of them so that it looks better!
Schedule/Calendar/To-Do List
This is totally cute and customizable and fun to do, plus it comes in handy! Making your to-do list could help you keep track of the things that you have to do, so you to build that habit of using your to-do list otherwise it wont be useful at all. You dont have to spend much to have a to-do list because you can totally make one! You probably have and old frame somewhere in your house, go find it! You also probably have some nice papers in there too so get those! So all you have to do is get a bond paper, cut it to the size of the frame. Now get 5 plain colored papers (different colors) and cut each so that the size is 1/5 (one-fifth) of the bond paper. Glue each colored paper to the bond paper. Once you did this, you can now write M T W T F to the side of each colored paper. Put it inside the frame and youre done! Your very own to-do list frame! You can use whiteboard marker to write on it and a tissue/old fabric to erase it! Put in on your desk/anywhere you can see it! Hope you understood that! XD
YouTube
Youtube has tons of cute ideas to make your desk organized and cute that I can no longer explain on words. Seeing things of your style is actually very healthy to your emotional well-being and helps you get motivated throughout the day!
Being organized is very essential especially when youre in college. You have to put everything in a nice order. You have to know your deadlines and you have to schedule everything otherwise youll cram. It is something that you build inside of you---a habit! These are just some tips that I sum up in one forum.
