Happy Chinese New Year!

February 9th

Hi everyone!

新年快乐!恭喜发财!万事如意!

Chinese New Year is also known as Lunar New Year or Spring Festival. As many are well aware, it the largest celebration in Chinese culture with each year being associated with one of the 12 Chinese zodiac animals. It's a time when traditions and customs are passed down and families gather together and enjoy feasts.

As we welcome the year of the Dragon, I have the following questions for you:

  1. Can you name all 12 of the Chinese zodiac animals? (If so, what are they?)
  2. What are some tabboos or traditions you've heard or noticed about this holiday?
