Hi Community!
We need your help! Make your voice heard! Cast your vote!
We are starting a new partnership with a couple of leading universities (cannot disclose names yet, but will soon!) to create a training program for community health workers (CHWs).
CHWs are non-licensed people that provide psychological interventions. There is a tremendous amount of suffering in this world and not enough clinicians to address the pain. That is one reason why our community has experienced so much growth. Governments, however, require workers that are trained beyond what we currently provide on 7 Cups. We will partner with scientists to make 7 Cups the main CHW training platform. At some time in the future, if all goes according to plan, listeners will have the option of becoming a paid CHW in their country once we have this up and running.
The themes for this program are innovation, fidelity (meaning people stay true to administering the treatment in the right way), equity and quality. This is in the larger context of universal health care - the idea that every single person on this planet deserves health care as a basic human right. So...we need a really good name that reflects all of this!
What should we name this program??
@Laura OMG this would be a huge opportunity i really hope this is set in place sounds exciting

I believe this is a significant event! I love it!
@Laura i chose the one that i believe describes what the team would do, in a nutshell; good luck with the voting!
I voted. :) This is an amazing opportunity, if it all falls in to place. I'm sure many listeners would be interested in becoming a CHW.
@Laura
Thats sounds exciting! Tho it seems like its private so I cant vote 😬
@Laura This sounds like an amazing opportunity, not only for qualified, interested listeners but, to expand 7 Cups' global 'reach' ;-) Hope it comes to fruition!
I like this idea
and there could be very useful changes here on 7 cups like a positive thinking support fourm
@Laura Registration with google is required to reply to the questions. Can that be deactivated, please?
