The 2024 Smalls Award Winners!!

Heather225 July 5th

Congratulations to us all! We have passed the decade mark and are well on our way to the next phase of our community adventure. We are in the best place we’ve ever been and that’s 100% thanks to each one of you. As members, listeners, and leaders, you've collectively helped us build something special, and we are as grateful as we are proud of you!

The Smalls Award is a badge of honor created after Laura Small in 2019 to honor her legacy and can-do attitude. Every year we thoughtfully select community members who are exemplary models of our values and champions for our mission.

We are thrilled to highlight 3 people once again, and here they are in no particular order:

@Jenna
Jenna joined 7 Cups in 2014, making this their tenth year of service! Jenna has seen the progression of our community from as far back as when we were a tiny sprout operating on Chatzy! You may know Jenna best as the head of the Peer Support Program and a representative (a fount of wisdom, if you will) in the Listener Support Room. Jenna has a calm, conscientious approach to mentoring and leadership that’s highly admirable, as is their earnest commitment to continually elevating the quality of our listeners.

Jenna has been a key player in the foundational phases of our listener community’s development. They are someone I would love to have greeted me at the beginning of my journey here at Cups. Jenna is a rock for our community and we’re so grateful to have them.

@Lou73
Lou joined Cups in 2015 and has played a pivotal role in overseeing and leading Sharing Circle. She hosted more than 300 Sharing Circle sessions and 67 sessions in 2024. It will be her 9th year here in the community and her presence and contributions made a huge impact. She encouraged, guided, and supported many of us.

Lou has a can-do attitude and is always ready to tackle challenges and motivate others. She has a positive spirit and unwavering determination to scale up Sharing Circle and support the community.  We are grateful for her strong and uplifting presence in the Group Support and celebrate her contributions.

@SoulfullyAButterfly
Ayesha fluttered into 7 Cups in 2018, marking her 6th year Cupsversary as of this past June!

Ayesha started out as an intern in the Academy, then went on to specialize in CDM, and branched out into the world of marketing and content. With a keen eye for aesthetics and details, Ayesha creates remarkable graphics and even helps with product design for our platform — and this isn’t even including all the other significant projects such as the therapeutic challenges she’s run and more!

Ayesha is one of the most ambitious people I have ever met. I am constantly impressed by her go-getter attitude and determined spirit. She is as kind as she is patient, and she’s always willing to collaborate to make amazing things happen. (And incidentally, the prettiest images I’ve used, like all those for the Leadership Spotlight series, have been crafted by Ayesha!)

We are proud to have her on the Community Team and celebrate her work.

Here are some additional shoutouts from leaders for you Smalls winners!
