The Listener Request Limit
Why is there a request limit for the day? I try talking to people but I have a hard time explaining and a lot of the times it doesn't end very well. Plus some listeners are inappropriate so I have to leave the chat. I don't know who I'm supposed to talk to I have difficulty making decisions so I'm just sitting here the entire time I don't even know if I CAN message people even. Having a topic also can make things easier to explain as the person already knows going into the chat about the topic. Now I'm just scrambling around blindly and I don't know what to do. I hate this.
@DistortionHeart There's a limit because some members were abusing the service. Yes, you can message any adult listener.
A better way to find a listener is to use the Browse Listeners page. Choose any experienced listener who has a lot of good reviews and a Chat Now button. This makes it less likely that the listener will be inappropriate. You can also filter the list of listeners by topic, if you like.

It's not just that, sometimes evenwhen we browse for a listener they don't respond to us. It's kinda frustratin. I wish they could increase the limit to at least 10. I've started this method of just drafting whatever I feel like saying and give them some time to read and reply it works with some genuine listeners. Or you could post a forum and share a link to them. I've tried that too. But you're right about how difficult it is to find a decent listener.
