Daily Community Challenges
Edited based on feedback from @heartsNcupcakes
Let's think through daily challenges we can all participate in each day of the week. We can have multiple challenges per day. Some challenges might fit certain struggles more than others. e.g., if you struggle with anxiety, then #MindfulnessMonday might be more appealing than #MotivationalMonday, which might be a better fit for someone struggling with a low mood or depression.
Share below and I'll update the list as we go with options. Please be sure to add the 3 things the person would post so I can make sure I'm understanding your recommendation. Thanks!
Monday:
#MotivationMonday (not sure who started this one but awesome)
-3 things you are motivated to accomplish this week?
#MindfulnessMonday
-practice a mindfulness exercise and post it.
#MemberMonday
-introduce yourself or welcome 3 new members.
Tuesday:
#TomorrowTuesday
-3 things you are looking forward to this week?
#TranqulityTuesday
-an image or meditation that helps you feel calm

-3 things you are going to do this week to boost your emotional wellness
Thursday:
#ThankfulThursday
-3 things you are thankful for
Friday:
#FunFriday
-3 things you are going to do for fun
#FlixFriday

Saturday:
#SereneSaturday
-3 things you are going to do to relax for the weekend
Sunday:
#SunnySunday
-3 positive things you can do this coming week
This is for tranquility Tuesday. I am also adding it to my feed.
For me meditation is about getting back into a quiet mind, so rampant thoughts and emotions especially anxious ones are an impediment. So I usually "carry" this "first aid kit" wherever I go. It is not trying to change anything, just to be aware of breathing and counting silently to myself. When I focus on that it disrupts the unruly thoughts or emotions and with persistence will restore a sense of calm and relaxation.
Here are the simple instructions.
While breathing naturally, silently count one on the inhale. Two on the exhale, three on the inhale...continuing up to 10. Then start at one again. Allow the breath to be naturally but belly breathing can be more relaxing if that is natural.
Me time!
Take time to do what you love day... This is a good fit for all, we live in a busy environment and we often forget to take time to Please our selves and make our selves happy. When we are happy the people around us can sense that energy change and react kindly to that vibration.
Act of giving!
To receive from others is a nice feeling but also the reseaving lets us understand that others care. To practes the act of giving though fills one up with so much joy. To see some one smile, and to feel that you have contributed to the happiness of another person is so rewarding. It gives one purpose and the reason to continue giving. Weather it is a smail or a helping hand weather is to read to other a short story or a children's book, to say a joke or even holding the door to some one,, giving to others is a verry uplifting act of kidnes and fills one with joy.
Have anyone thought of one thing that you have always wanted to do for someone and never felt the courage to do so because of what others might think. Well if there ever was a day to do this would you drop all negative thinking and do it anyways. Well this day could be today.
I think this is great. If I can add a suggestion I like terrific Tuesday or Thursday for a time where one can reflect on a few things things that are terrific about themselves. I think we often forget how much we do right or well. We also don't take a moment always to not all we have accomplished. Just a thought.
Some thoughts I had on a couple extra options...
#SelfcareSunday...listing 3 things you will do, or have done for yourself that day
#WiseWednesday...a quote that has impacted you
#WarmheartedWednesday...what you've done to be welcoming or an act of kindness
#SmileSaturday...3 things in the day that made you smile
I love self-care sunday
Thinking out loud and I'm not sure it's limited to this topic, but some of us struggle with our mood going down on weekends, as others celebrate and socialize. It makes the sadness and loneliness worse, and is love for there to be anything from challenges to support for those of us who wish we could do fun things but don't have anyone to do them with. Yeah yeah go alone, I've tried that but until society can accept me doing it more, I can't deal with the awkwardness.
@paidir
I can feel lonely even in a crowd of people so for me it's not even about having people around it's about not wanting them to be
3 is too much. one is an enough big challenge for me... lol.
