This is going to sound disgusting but anyway here goes....I pick my elbows and places on my head under my hair and also pick places under my feet- often i pick the old scabs off the skin until it bleeds on my elbows and head. I also bite inside of my cheek if I can't get to those two main places. I try not do my head so much because it was getting painful at times to brush my hair. So my elbows become my main spot, but they also get sore. I get agitated when my kids or husband tell me to stop.

It relaxes me and is a bit of an obsession. I don't want to hurt myself. It just sort of helps Sometimes I do it without realising it and when im stressed i do it much more, im embarrassed to tell people because it's discusting thing to do, my gp saw my elbows once and wanted to know what happened there... I told him something like its a bad habit i have. As a kid i used to bite my nails but I hardly do that too much now. If i put nail polish on i pick it off. Is it still self-harm or stress or am i just a freek?
