Hi everyone and happy Wednesday! I hope you all are doing well and having a good start to your week so far. This week has been super busy and I'm a bit behind in terms of homework and academics, which is understandable since I was far ahead for a while before I needed to take a short break. It's okay though!

Today's theme is: coping with surprising events (the not great surprises😣)

A lot of the times, we have things that come up in our lives that we didn't expect. From drastic things to a family member's death to smaller surprises like forgetting to pay off certain bills, our lives are filled with uncertain surprises and just uncertainty in general. Coping with these things can be hard sometimes since we are often too critical on ourselves about it. Today is a reminder to be aware of what you can and cannot control 🧡

Today and the past days, have not been great. My plans for the week is focusing on my self care break

2) Take a deep breath, are there any things in your life that you can't control right now that you're stressing about?

Just took a deep breath! Things I can't control right now and are stressing me out is school and a loss in my family. I am really struggling in Math, and for the loss of my family I rather not say

Today is my 2 years & 6 months clean so i am reaaaaally happy. And i do not have plans yet.

2) Take a deep breath, are there any things in your life that you can't control right now that you're stressing about?

How my future will look & who will be in it.

Flamingo (i hope thats a bird lol cause im just assuming)

1) How are you feeling today? Any goals or plans for the rest of the week?

I'm feeling quite good. No real goals, I'm planning to do an imagination exercise for therapy today, as my therapy session is tomorrow morning

2) Take a deep breath, are there any things in your life that you can't control right now that you're stressing about?

I guess there's always some things I don't control, like the way people choose to respond to covid, or another country's election. But there's none of those things bothering me right now

3) What's your favorite type of bird?

Too many pretty ones to choose. Like swallows, or godwits, or swans...

im feeling okay. one goal of mine is to drink lots of water!! im usually quite good at remembering but recently ive been lacking:/

i can't control the future. that's stressing me out because i don't know what's to come and i don't know what's coming or going my way

Hey there !! :) Long time no see !

Good luck with your homework, academics and all that busy stuff you're up to ! :) Hope all goes well ! Oh and don't overwork yourself ;)

1) How are you feeling today? Any goals or plans for the rest of the week? I'm okay, I've have a peaceful day living in my own bubble so things are going fine ! I have the rest of the week off work, while I was planning to see my family (I can't because of lockdown), I'm taking some time to look after myself :)

2) Take a deep breath, are there any things in your life that you can't control right now that you're stressing about? Work is stressing me out a lot, honestly I need to to change job but there's a lot more to that than just handing in a letter, I'd have to find something else and go through interviews and all that ... But yeah at the moment work isn't great and I get frustrated even though it's stuff that's out of my control ...

3) What's your favorite type of bird? Actually I don't know much out birds .. I'd go with an owl as I like to stay up at night, I find the world much more peaceful at nighttime :)

I'm tired. I have a dentist appointment and a couple other things planed for the week.

2) Take a deep breath, are there any things in your life that you can't control right now that you're stressing about?

Yes. Several. I have done what I can so now all I can do is wait.

3) What's your favorite type of bird?

I guess it's the promar AKA sea pigeons. They are small and fairly docile make kind of a laughing coo sound. And when they really want to they can be tuff and aggresive. Albatross wich are many times the size of a promar will be feeding on a fish. 5 or 6 of them. And not often but once and a while a single promar will come over and muscle in and take the fish for its self. So I see it as the small underdog winning in the face of staggering odds.

A bit bored. My plans for this week are more on academics.

School activities. Hahaha!

I am not good, I hope to relax and see things going better.

2) Take a deep breath, are there any things in your life that you can't control right now that you're stressing about?

I feel worried and afraid every day about my job, because the last week of october a manager came to my site work and yelled at me and threatened me to be fired and a supervisor sent me a colleague to watch out my work in an insulting way. I feel angry and afraid and stressed.

3) What's your favorite type of bird?

The birds I can see from far distances.

Depressed hopeless when will this end just trying to survive. Just having a rough time with my husband. I treat him like gold and he treats me like trash since we came back from vacay of being with his parents for a month...

2) Take a deep breath, are there any things in your life that you can't control right now that you're stressing about?

Money, christmas, my husband, my dog, getting legalized, life, helping the loved one in the hospital.

3) What's your favorite type of bird?

Hummingbird because they're my great grandmas favorite.
