weirdest anxiety trigger

Cole102201 April 4th, 2015

okay I guess I don't want to feel alone when I have anxiety or panic attacks or the silliest things... I feel the silliest when I get anxious over not being able to find the remote for my bedroom tv... If I can't find it after 5 mins or so it has turned in to a panic attack... What is the weirdest/ silliest thing that gives you anxiety

I feel your pain im the exact same. I used to completely freak out if I ever had to stay over at anyone's home but mine (especially if I knew I couldnt leave, eg holidays), to the point of id drive home at 3.30 am just to avoid it. Also anything to do with alcohol, darn stuff haha.

I usually get panic attacks because of family or school. But do you get just anxious, or do you start hyperventilating, feeling dizzy or any sort of symptoms of a serious panic attack?

You probably need medical help. I wish I could have some medical help, but my mom thinks I can fix it by myself. I usually have a lot of chest pain too, it's awful, and my most common symptom is hyperventilation. I just hate it. Sometimes I can't even breath.

That's great, I guess. I wish I could know a way to seek medical help without my mom saying "oh, you don't need medication! I know you have problems, but you can get better by yourself... bla bla bla bullsh*t" I was having a panic attack on an important event this afternoon and I almost couldn't breath, and my chest was hurting a lot! I had to fake I was okay and it was awful

The worst thing for me is my mobile ringing. Scince I received a phone call to inform me my mum had passed I can not cope with my phone ringing. It just takes mea straight back there. Everyone's else's phones don't bother me, I chabged my ring tone, and changed my phone. But I can't handle it. And I hate to answer it. I have to ask people to text me and I'll call them back.

I have a fear of driving and have not driven on a major highway in several years. I can go around town but that's it. Few people know of this and I don't personally know of anyone eith this issue. It has cost me a lot. :-(

Try talking to your friends and family about it, I expect you already know someone suffering.

My weirdest trigger is spending money unexpectedly. Like if I get sick and have to get antibiotics or something, I go into a panic attack. Also, spending money on food triggers me badly
