Strange Chat

Hey there! I'm a member and recently a chat popped up in my chat list labelled as "Therapy Request", on opening it I saw there was a bot typing, but its scared me since I did not opt for any kind of therapy or so. I haven't clicked on any kind of therapy links either, and we're charged for using therapy I think..so I'm really in doubt. Can someone please help at the earliest? It'd be really great! :)

Again..I haven't opted or chosen for any kind of therapy..

Thanks

Hey! I'm not sure why that would happen. It only does that if you click on the therapy button. Don't worry though, simply close the conversation and don't respond. 7 Cups can't charge you without card details so if you haven't provided any, then you can't be charged. :)

@SilentSerenityy

Thanks for the reply! So if I leave it unattended then it'll get canceled automatically right?

Thanks again :)

Hiya, don't worry about it lovely. Do you visit the group support chats? Because sometimes I know when I have gone to click the 'group support chats' I've hit the 'chat with an online therapist' option instead, this is when the friendly bot comes into play, but nothing will be done, you have to physically enter in your personal details prior to any billing process, so I'd say your completely safe and won't be charged a penny.

Of course, if you have any further concerns, you are able to email the community direct at community@7cups.com they will be able to answer any further concerns you have🙂

I hope we have managed to restore some reassurance!

Have a lovely evening.

Thanks so much for the reply! And yes it maybe a possibility. If I leave the chat unattended for 30 days without replying it'll cancel it automatically right?

Or would it be better to email 7cups about this...? Yes you all did manage to reduce my fear to a large extent :D thanks a lot again!

Yeah, just cancel the chat luvvie. As long as you never entered and personal information or bank details nothing will happen, if you have done that, then email the community ☺

And you very welcome by the way ❤

Hmmm... I got a 'Pop up' from Sophia (the 7 cups bot) while I was in a Chat Room. I def didn't click anything. She just appeared in my Listener List, as incoming msg

The link appears in so many different places it's easy to hit it accidentally!

I can verify what others have said. I have been actually answering the questions, filling in some information in order to learn more about how it works and share it with others.

You can answer everything right up to the billing information without starting the 3 day trial. Upon a 1-1 listener chat, everything just resets anyway.

The confirmation of agreeing to the 3 day trial/agreement to pay if continuing past the 3 day trial is on the popup that collects your credit card information.

No need to do anything on your end if you haven't provided that information! smiley

Oh - I should add, you might get some emails encouraging you use the therapy option though! Nothing to worry about though, just some emails you can delete if you're not interested. I think one I got had a discount code.
