@calmMango9611, Yes, and amen!  @TinyWhisper11  @Helgafy

I love it that God wants us to talk to him, that we can talk to Jesus as a friend, and definitely that the Holy Spirit interprets for me when I just don't know what to say!  Like me saying to God, "I want to do this amazing activity or dream I have to be of service to You, God."

And then I would add (or certainly could), "Please Lord, help me to be patient as I wait for Your timing."  Mango, Tiny, Helgafy, everyone else reading this... Waiting on God can be a really hard thing.  I know you know this, but I just want to add that because when a person is in a season of "wait," it can sometimes feel so lonely.

Reminder:  God IS with you, and me too.   And He is staying with you, even as you wait upon Him for His timing of that 'next thing' for you.

#TheGodWhoStays  A recent song by Christian artist Matthew West - "The God Who Stays" (2019).  The link has a sound clip of the song.  (((Strong and encouraging Hugs))) to each of you!  <3 Platy

A nice song. Thank you. You have a fine day Platy.

@cyanPlatypus6370 when I pray, each night, I don't pray for myself I pray for others, and thank God for this beautiful world ❤ when I talk to God as I sit under the willow tree and watch the sunrise, I just talk to him like I would a friend. He answers in ways we don't always notice, but he cares and loved each and every one of us ❤❤

hugs platy ❤ hugs mango ❤ hugs helgafy ❤

Hi Tiny. You who pray. This is what God is saying about your praying:
Isaiah 65:24 "Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking
I will hear."

Hi - if you're still around.

@CalmMango9611 writes so many fine things here - maybe you want to read.

(I'll watch later what is written to me at this thread).
Mango - can I humbly ask you to pray for me. Like today - my energy was very low. Then my mind follows. I want to d i e and ask God for that. My sickness is like that several times in the morning each month. Then - after about 4 hours I get more energy and my mind feels better. Both you and I know that Jesus Christ was and is a healer. We know that he bore our sicknesses on the cross: 1.Peter 2.24:  “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”    These hours are very difficult for me to carry.

Mango. I want to thank you so much for your prayer. My afternoon was better and I could watch TV. And my sleep was very good. So thank you again. When I now look back it was like a fight with the Devil. It was like he threw my mind among the walls in my flat. Of course he knows I belong to the Saviour, Jesus Christ. (And he comes when I'm down in energy). (If you want to you can call me she/her).

@Helgafy dear lord, please send helfafy the strength and courage  to keep going through the harsh mornings she faces. Please give her the energy cope with everyday battles, and limit the pain and hardships her illness brings. Please shower her with the love and care she so willingly gives to others. Thank you lord Amen ❤❤

Tiny - what a beautiful prayer. Thank you so much!

I was thinking of you. You once wrote that you wanted to be together with young people as yourself. What about contacting the priest at your parish church and asking if she/he knew about someone that could visit you? Many churches have this form of outreach. When I was in my 20th I visited an old man where I was living once a week. And maybe later you could also visit the church. The church of England has very many fine songs they sing.

@Helgafy I meet many young people (like you😉) on this site ❤ I'm very thankful for this site. I'd be lost without it ❤

I don't go to church I don't leave the nursing home. And helgafy, I'm not a Christian. I don't class myself as any religion. I believe in God and angels and heaven. But I don't want to be any particular religion. Sorry.

@Tinywhisper11

I knew about that. I have seen you have written that before. I also know that your terrible sect called themselves Christians and it could be a really big conflict in your heart to call yourself the same. Guess what - the first Christians said about themselves that they're following The Way. Jesus Christ said about himself: John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." So maybe - if you ever choose Christianity - you can say: "I follow the Way".
Did you know that only in this religion the leader in love gave himself to death in love for humanity and was resurrected?

I see here you pray to the Lord. You know we teach God is 3 - Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I think the Spirit of God leads you when you pray. Here is a Bibleverse about that:

I Corinthians 12:3

Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.

I want to tell you. The Western part of the world is very much impressed by Christianity. We write the year 2024 which means 2024 years after Christ was born. We celebrate Christmas, Easter and  Pentecost because of Christianity. Pentecost we celebrate because the Holy Spirit came to live within the Christians. And you chosed the cross as a symbol to visit ourside your house.

@Helgafy yeah I know, I celebrate those holidays too, and understand it's just I can't be labelled with a particular religion. I just cant😟

Hi Tiny.

I don't try to put conflicts in you. But you're absolutely a religious person. The Bible says: Psalm 53.1-2. The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.”

Father God, we come to you in prayer. Father God, be with the poor, the broken, the lost, the sick and the dying. Father God, send your healing touch to those who needed it. Father God, be their protector, their counselor, their listener and their friend.  Father God, comfort those who are sick and dying. Father God, be with all the care givers, the mental health support personnel. Father God, we know working with these people, is not easy and the hours spent with them can be long sometimes. Father God, protect these people, from every attack. Father God, I ask that you send a special blessing, for those who go into this line of work. Father God, give them the strength that they need. In Jesus, Mighty and Holy name, we pray. Amen and Amen.
