Faith Avoiding Conflict
Many people find relationships with people we know very challenging. Even people we get along with most of the time can really "push our buttons" sometimes, to say nothing of those who we do not see "eye-to-eye" with.
- Feel free to share an example of how your faith helped you avoid conflict with someone or helped you to get along better with them.

Faith helps me to not see a certain person as someone who wants to do me intentionally harm but instead not being able to see what they are doing or understand my personality. I practise to step back and calm myself when challenged.

Faith help me to avoid people that's want me to lose my trust in everyone and be someone with no one ,no friend, lonely person but I just ignore them and I trusted the faith and honesty of others, their love, and my desire to live and continue to help others and meet trustworthy friends and people, regardless of the outcome, without regret.
@Tulipsmile thank you for sharing part of your journey.

My pleasure 😇,Thank you for Tag
And for your question 🌷🌷
It can help with just lowering stress in general, so I am able to remain calm. With some situations it can allow for connecting with others with similar beliefs, which can make it easier to work through an issue. It can also be helpful to put things into perspective.

Just today my partner refused to come down for lunch and said they were sick. This was very frustrating after I set out lunch for them in the kitchen. But a voice in my head said "Do not get mad. Just go put the food away."
So when I got downstairs there was not enough room to put the food in dishes back into the refrigerator. A thought came to me, "bring them lunch in their room." So I did that and left it for when they felt better and they started eating right away.
By not reacting with anger I did not lose my feeling of well being and I did not damage the relationship and have to spend lots of time repairing it if I could. I feel good about myself for not letting negative emotions rule me.

@soulsings your a really great person ❤
@Tinywhisper11 I'm not sure if I know how to answer this question.
@soulsings how does faith help me avoid conflict?
When I moved into my home as its sole tenant, I had bad trouble with the upstairs neighbors.
I followed God and the law and here are the results:
They lost their place and new people moved in above and we get along great.
They are still around having somehow acquired another apartment, and they are free of the literal demons causing them to behave so horribly. And we are friends!
Cause I obeyed God and the law when that was so hard to do!
@RogueOne1983 thanks for sharing.
@soulsings welcome!
@soulsings and I want to add it was extremely difficult and more stress than anyone knows.
So I am going to appreciate myself because I richly deserve it for coloring within the lines when everything in me was screaming for revenge.
Their bad behavior went on about a month before they were finally stopped, and it was an extremely miserable time.
So I appreciate myself for being strong, toeing the line, walking the path set before me. The results are utterly amazing and so grateful to God I was given grace and strength to endure and see it all through.
Self, you did a fantastic job!!!! Way to go!!!
@RogueOne1983 self compassion and recognizing when we follow our faith can really help us maintain good self esteem.
@soulsings Absolutely!!
Faith helps me avoid conflict routinely at work especially when there any many seniors at my company. It helps me approach situations clearly and lowers stress levels. I try to take that energy and approach it in a more positive way by doing prayers.
