Thoughts on a parent doing something like onlyfans?
What are your thoughts on a parent doing something like onlyfans? I ask because I have noticed that my mom has shown an interest in such a thing. And I am worried that she may actually or already has been doing something of that nature and it terrifies me a lot! It's almost degrading to say the least. Not sure how I should approach her on this I mean she is a grown woman afterall but still, I'm her daughter and I think this is not a good example she is setting for her kids!
Is she in need of funds to the point she wants to do it for that reason or just for fun? Tell her you wouldn’t be comfortable with your parent doing that, that kids you know could find it
The way I see it, it's for both reasons. She's already at a point where she doesn't care and does what she wants. I think it started wanting to do it as something to have more fun. The way i see it it's not just about the money but also living a live that different from most. I'm also too scared to comfort her about it. I mean a lot if woman have gotten into OF during the pandemic and it has helped many people so it does have its pros and cons. Thing is when u have children it hits a different way each time. I have two other siblings so the thought of them seeing that when they are older always scares me.
good point that it helped a lot maintain stability during the pandemic; it provided a great economic advantage. However also an important point that when you have children you have to consider is this something you’d want them to see. Kind of like the quote that says something like “never do anything you wouldn’t want your mother to see on the front page of the newspaper” you have to consider who your actions affect.
It always worries me that she doesn't care about the consequences of her actions. She just wants to have fun and be with different guys. Money is a big part of it too. But she seems like she doesn't have a care in the world and does what she wants. I mean she is a sexual person so i get it she likes having "fun" and showing off her "assets" Just wish she would pay more attention to her children and friends and family about finding out since it makes it more unbearable for us.

Your mom is a single mom that's why she spends her time doing what she actually liked to do and ad daughter you have rights to ask her but you should respect her decision and view's....You don't have rights to go against her as her child..Coz parents do things that are awkward for there Children's sometimes but don't take her in a wrong way...so rarely parents give up on there kids..but if he's feeding you and looking after you then you shouldn't be worried about her... but try to know why she doing stuff like this..try to understand and view and accept it...if you have any issues related to it then discuss with her without judging her.... be a good child...

that response was uncalled for dude...u didnt have to say "be a good child" to me it seems like shes doing the parenting cuz her moms to busy having fun..if the mother has children and is doing that its uncalled for unless she really needs it but @marisolRodriguez was saying her moms most likely doing it for fun...she is being respectfull to her mother shes just worried about her syblings and making sure what is happening is right...the way i look at it she does have respect for her mother and the way she asked the question was respecful and nice...
