I caught my bf watching porn
My boyfriend and I have been together for over a year. We have always argued. One time, it got to the point where I almost broke up with him. We had a serious chat and I thought we were good. The other day I caught him watching porn. The women look very different from me. I am heart broken.
I guess you could say that we do not have a great sex life. I mean we have sex but maybe once or twice a week. I’m trying not to blame myself, but it’s so not to. I don’t know what to do. I feel sick to my stomach and I cry myself to sleep ever night.
@bestChestnut9870 So sorry to here this.
I am so sorry that your bf, was doing things, that was causing some health issues for you.
I hope you feel better soon, my friend.
Have you guys ever explicitly talked about how you don’t want him watching that? And if so, did he tell you that he wouldn’t? If you haven’t addressed that it’s worth addressing. But if you had already told him in the past not to and he did anyway that’s different
@bestChestnut9870 I've never really tried to articulate my views on porn and the watching thereof lol, but I will say this;
I'm sorry the situation with your boyfriend has come to a point where you say it made you feel...not so great about yourself. I guarantee you that everyone and their mother has something to say when it comes to the topic of porn and that it differs from person to person. So if you haven't already done so, I just want to encourage you to sit down and talk with your boyfriend about it. Tell him it bothers you. Open a dialog...preferably in a neutral space.
Granted not everyone is comfortable talking about sex, and that's alright. However, if you're having sex it is extremely important (like really really) to recognize that certain things have the potential to hurt not only the relationship itself but the people in it if you A) don't understand them and B) choose to ignore them. Especially if these things leave you feeling some type of way.
I hope your situation improves
He did not take it well
He might need some time to process it
Thanks this stuff really does bother you ladies I'll take the advise
I could never understand why a man should be restricted from looking for an adult video. If you have certain principles, then you need to be interested in how a man feels about this before your relationship becomes serious. It's simple, isn't it? But another question is that almost every man one day starts looking for mature women for sex. Maybe it's psychology or a certain hormonal explosion.. but.. it's a fact.
