My partner and I have been on the verge of breaking up and have been struggling with physical and emotional compatibility. He has agreed to start going to therapy which makes me hopeful. I am a bit worried that things will get better for a short but then go back to how they have been recently but I am trying to remain optimistic.

@depressedrainbowUnicorns4life,
how about both of you doing relationship therapy? It's not a magic wand yet it might help to improve communication, create mutual understanding, express needs in a healthy way and put down boundaries. And of course, he'd have his own therapy to work on himself.
