What's next?

I'll start with some background; me and a friendhave known each other for 4 years now. We've gone through a lot together, her helping me with the loss of my dad and I helping her with many life problems. We are both in high school now and I'm starting toThink I like her. I've thought about it and decided to be open with her about how I felt saying that I was confused and wanted to know how she felt and she was the same. I know that there is almost no chance of losing her as a friend and we both mutually decided to go on knowing about that and seeing what happens with us being us. Now I'm not sure what to do because I'd prefer to try a date or something and see how that goes. Should I say something about that even after we decided to see how stuff goes? Or should I relax? My only fear is waiting too long to do somethingand someone else coming in or us just not talk as much for whatever reason (She is switching schools and leaving band, I realize we could still text and see each other outside of those).

If more information would is wanted I'm happy to explain more.

I think that if youve already talked about your feelings and decided to see where it goes you should take a leap of faith and ask her out, maybe do something you dont normally do as friends...just dont put any pressure on it, if it doesnt work, well at least it was worth the try

Thanks, that was my thought lately but she hasn't been answering texts the past few days from me. I may be a bit of a creeper but I see she is on FB a good amount of time so she can't be that busy. I'll think some more on that though and keep it an option.

You have done the right thing. Just a tick of advice; live in the moment. The future is unwritten and the past is gone. The moment, you know, what you have with her, appreciate it, encourage her to do the same, and work towards making the moment your focus. Take care.
