how do you deal with breakups?

Break ups are terrible. So what do you do to make yourself feel a little better? I personally plop on the sofa with a big tub of ice cream and watch funny movies. what are your breakup remedies?

Simple, I don't :)

I hadjust one non-serious relationship with a person and it was just for curiosity, I never fell in love, I am a cold person...but who knows, maybe one day I'll fall in love, but not looking forward to it, I have no tolerance to rejection...

I went on youtube believe it or not. They have people who know how to help. Like a self help book. But do remember this, no one should ever care about you more then you. Once you love you others will follow. Take care.

I went on dates with new guys and hung out with my friends. I didn't like being alone right after a breakup so my friends were always there for me

Engage yourself in things you love. Surround yourself with your close friends and you'll find yourself dealing with it a little better.

I let myself feel like crap for as long as I want to. But then I also realize that at some point you need to move on and get off the couch and do something. You have to know your limits and needs :)

I turn off my phone and disconnect myself from all the social accounts for at least one month... I cry every time I need it and I try to keep this pain just for me... I lay in bed with music and imagine all the good things are waiting for me and I feel better... everything is just matter of time... so give it time! Be strong. :)

I have found that when I indulge in something I love, it helps me cope up with a break up. For instance theatre or photography is deeply therapeutic for me. The human brain can hold one thought at any given point of time. So when I focus on taking pictures or just going through a great collection of wildlife pictures on the net and wonder about the angle and other technical details about how each picture was taken, it takes the focus out of my pain and my brain is suddenly having its' 'aha' moments. This has helped me through immensely critical moments in life. And very soon I am much better placed emotionally.
