Just broke with my boyfriend of a year because he is overly controlling and did not really do anythint but talk to him. We were in a long distance relationship but met a couple of years back when I was out of the country. What is most difficult is that we were really good friends. He just did not want to trust me and I got fed up with being bashed and insulted. Anyone else been through something similar?

It's not right when someone you love is wrong to you because of their own insecurities. The fact is it may be hard but if he is making you feel bad, it is imperitive for you to stand up and move on. You did the right thing. You will find love again probably even better than you had. You are strong and bright you can and wll find better!
