I'm reading 'The Book Thief' (Markus Zusak) and 'Crime and Punishment' and they're genuinely so amazing.
Spoiler- Ugh sorry spoiler is such a wierd word. Anyway The Book Thief's about the time of Hitler's power, when Jew- hating wasn't quite as prominent, and there's some words in German (but I know german and there's a translation, like a smooth transition into the English translation)
