Community Ambassador Town Hall April-June 2022
Hello Community,
Over the time I have been a Community Ambassador, I have received a large amount of feedback dealing with each domain about challenges that the community has been dealing with, and issues that have been going on for a while. To assure that there is a space where I can answer your questions and so the community can see what I’m working on, I will be doing a quarterly update on my end to be transparent about what I’m working on.

Hello!
I think it would be a good idea to have somewhere of the roles that needs to be filled as I know for some listeners they see the popular roles and then apply thinking that's all they can do.
It would be super cool to highlight roles that needs covering, perhaps as a permanent spot in the 'Home' part of 7cuos, almost like 'vacancies' but listener roles?
I believe that would enhance the website!
@FrenchMarbles
Hi Marbles,
In the past we use to have a monthly post about leadership roles and projects that needed assistance. From it says like, having something similar where people can see what might need some additional assistance might be helpful. There's also a section within the Community Newsletter highlighting roles that new including the ones that might not be so popular as well.
Thank you for the great suggestions
Having been here since 2014, I've seen a lot of changes so it's hard to keep track with what is new and what got removed and what needs to be done. Either way I'm glad you're here because from what I've seen from you, you really focus on the heart of the 7Cups community and we appreciate you. ❤️
@Asher
Hi Asher and thank you for the wonderful work you're doing at 7Cup!
I have asked several times of this one 😊, but noone has done something about it.
From time to time teenagers come to sharing group. Yesterday a person was there, waiting to share. The person was 13 years old. We can only find out their age by asking or if they tell themselves. Why don't 7Cup put up above the "sharing group"-sign - only for persons being 18 years and more.
This was my message for today.
@Helgafy
Hi Helgafy,
It seems that there has been a concern about people being on the wrong side of the website for each age group. Which can happen due to multiple reasons, and has been a long challenge to deal with. I will follow up with the admins to see if there been an increase of people being on the wrong side of the website for their age group. From there ideas could be made of reducing that number.
@Asher'
Thank you.
@Asher
Transparency is always super appreciated, thankyou for this post, Asher. 😊
I'm excited to know more about the Art Wall Project, sounds intriguing definitely.
Also a quick note, the application form for the newsletter team seems to ask for permission?
@Sunisshiningandsoareyou
Hi Sun,
It's a setting on the google account that I thought I turned off but it seemed it turned it self back on. The form has been updated with the setting turned off so you can fill it out.
Awesome, @Asher, thankyou!
