Whims of Winter
Whims of Winter
Every windy water chill
Will skate and catch all snowbirds
Around so they are between
Always cold chinook prime curlers
A whistler here once was known
Though snow
Has fierce give to him
Make ice of smoke
Too I come as must
Riding on hug
& freeze at kiss
My polar cowboy
Trap me like this

There is something very intangible about your poem. The juxtaposition of themes of cold and heat makes me think of paradoxical moments of intimacy and emotional detachment, with lines such as "cold chinook prime curlers ", "freeze at kiss", and "My polar cowboy Trap me like this".
I enjoyed reading it, and hope this is a trend of seeing more of your poems shared. Thank you.
