We have to do more
Trigger warning, slavery.
It's not made public, it's hidden away,
Were law doesn't exist, or at least silence bribed with pay.
But the ones who are suffering are labelled slave,
Sex, beatings many taken to a early grave.
No clothes no blankets kept in a cage,
only let out to feel a adults rage.
But for the survivors, the ones who got away,
we live with the scars the fear of each day,
I live in a world now that's new to me,
trying to learn who I am and who I should be,
I live with shame, guilt and self blame,
they didn't even give me a name.
billions of slaves still live in world today,
how many more children's lives will pay.
It's happening it's real, but together we can stop this! I don't know how but I will never stop trying ❤
Tiny, thanks for sharing that intimate perspective. I'm so sorry you suffered through that.
Your poem is chilling.
I hope people read it and understand that this stuff is very real.
I don't know what to do about it either. I hope that the cruel people who do these things are stopped and caught. There's much tooo much suffering in this world already.
I wish all people understood and practiced kindness and respect for others.
@DancingSongbird579 thankyou for reading it ❤ there are so many things I would like to put a stop to, but slavery is at the top of the list🙁 child trafficking and cults they need to be something we stop forever
@Tinywhisper11
it's obviously a very big issue. I wonder when it will be get cured. Like always your words hit hard. And.What you said it's true. Slavery child trafficking is indeed a highly sensitive matter and dark cruel reality of the world we live in. No one knows the answer that when it will get eliminated. The only thing we can do is hope for a better tomorrow and do some actions from our side to make a better today.
@BelovedMe 🙂❤ yeah I think the only thing I can do right now is spread the word of what is happening and what's it's like for us🙁 I don't what else I canvdo , that's safe
@Tinywhisper11 This is deep, yet so incredibly heartbreaking. I am so glad you were rescued and survived. I can't imagine how you must of felt; and the scars of how you still feel today. It saddens me so much that you feel shame, self blame, and guilt. I don't know all of your story and all you faced, but I do not for certain that you are not to blame! What happened to you was in no way your fault! It absolutely amazes me how despite all you have gone though and endured how absolutely beautiful of a person you turned out to be. I believe God has his angels around you and your life is a blessing. I am in no way invalidating your feelings, but I wish you would not feel shame. You sharing your story, you bringing light to the horrific things that takes place, you advocating... well, let's just say you are inspiring! You are truly an amazing, strong, beautiful, and courageous young woman! I love you, my sweetest Tiny! <3 Xoxo.
@Tinywhisper11 I wish there was something I could say that would ease your guilt and shame and all the self blame. I know it's not easy to let go of those things. You are an amazing person Tiny. All you've gone through, all that you've suffered, you have this big beautiful heart that overflows with love. Love for your friends and for life. I know I've told you before that I admire you so much for how you are so wonderfully you and the strength you possess. I meant that. I am honored and blessed to have you as a friend ❤️
You bringing awareness to this is such a good thing. Too many people have no idea that this sort of thing happens and has been happening for a long time. May your voice spread from one person to the next and may their voices reach others that will also spread awareness, so that together we can stop this from happening to more children. Lots of love and respect to you ❤️❤️
@mytwistedsoul hugs you tightly ❤ thanks soul ❤ I hope oneday all this will be over🙂❤
@Tinywhisper11 I feel so guilty, like I'm a failure🙁
@Tinywhisper11 (hugs you tightly) ❤️ you are not a failure. Sometimes there's only so much that we can do. I know we often want to do more but we can't because we don't have the resources or the power. But there's importance in bringing awareness. Sometimes there's a lot guilt for getting away and surviving. Try to remember that this was NOT your fault. The fault lies with the people who do these sick things. There will be a price for them to pay, one way or another they will pay. There are groups now that track these people down. They rescue others. One day this will be stopped and it won't happen to any more children.
I love you Tiny and I'm am so glad you're here. I am so glad you got rescued and are safe now. ❤️
@mytwistedsoul yeah I know your right ❤ you always are, it's just hard sometimes. Thanks soul for always being here for me ❤ I love you
@Tinywhisper11 You're welcome. ❤️ Some days it is harder than other days. I don't know if that ever really stops but that's when the people who care about us remind us of the good things. We'll get through these moments, one day at a time. Even though we're an ocean apart, I'm with you in heart and spirit ❤️ Always
@Tinywhisper11 This is incredibly powerful and moving. The pain and trauma you’ve described is unimaginable, yet your strength shines through. No one should ever endure such horrors, and it’s heartbreaking to think of how many are still suffering today. You’ve given a voice to those who are silenced, and that’s so important. The shame, guilt, and fear are not yours to carry – they were forced upon you. Keep speaking out, because together, we can make sure this stops.
You are such a strong, supportive, and kind woman, and your courage to keep going is truly inspiring. You’re not alone, and you matter, Tiny whisper. You are the tiny whisper in the darkness and that is more powerful than a roar. * Sending you virtual hugs*❤️
@azurePond Thank you ❤❤ I hope oneday it will stop🙁 I just wish there was more I could do
@Tinywhisper11 If you want to help prevent human trafficking, start by learning the signs—victims may exhibit fear, isolation, or signs of abuse. Resources from organisations like Polaris, A21, and Free the Slaves can help you recognise trafficking and take action. You can volunteer, donate, or fundraise to support survivors, and advocate for stronger laws by signing petitions. If you suspect trafficking, report it and keep the relevant hotline numbers handy. Support ethical businesses that ensure their supply chains are free from exploitation, and be mindful of your purchases. Volunteering with groups like CAST or Thorn to help survivors with therapy or job training can also make a difference. (source from : google search)
If you’re thinking about getting involved in the fight against human trafficking, that’s truly admirable. However, it’s important to take the time to research and understand the issue fully before jumping in. Be mindful of your own emotional well-being and mental health, Tiny Whisper. It does not make you a selfish person. Make sure you’re emotionally prepared for the weight of it. And remember, you don’t owe anyone anything—your desire to help comes from a place of empathy and compassion, and that’s what truly matters.
Fighting trafficking is not about doing everything. This work should never feel like a burden—it’s a purpose you choose to take on because you care. Even if you don’t take any direct action, simply living your life with kindness and awareness, exploring new things, or occasionally writing something that raises awareness—like poetry, you did here—already has an impact. The fact that I searched about this is proof enough. You’re already making a difference, and that’s more than enough.
Take care <3
@azurePond Due to privacy concerns I cant say it but I do some volunteer work and I know some people, I will bring this issue to their focus. I cannot promise you anything but when something really good happens I will let you know.
@azurePond thankyou ❤ one-day I will do so much more but atm I'm under a protection programme, it's not safe for me to speak up or get out there to help🙁 and the guilt is eating me, when I was rescued only a handful of us was, we left so many behind🙁
@Tinywhisper11 It is like I said before, you do not owe anyone. But if you still feel like helping because you care..because you are empathetic... One day , you can. Even if you do not, just living your life and writing poems like these .. is enough 🥹💖
@Tinywhisper11
You are getting out there; the message you conveyed in your thoughtful and impactful poem creates ripples which resonate with others, who in turn speak out and act, creating ripples, which in turn effect others who act, ad infinitum. I think it is clear by the messages you received once you posted this piece that your actions have had an effect.
You sing, we hear it and join in. They may be intimidating, but we are many.
