@QuietMagic Hey! I appreciate your post and thank you for your prompts. 💓
I am doing well today! How are you keeping? Nature and gardening helps to keep me rejuvenated. Just being in my garden makes me feel a sense of calm and peace.
@GentleHealingInitiative
Hello! 💜 Being able to just spend time in the garden and enjoy being in nature sounds amazing.
Wanted to say I stumbled across your IDG threads and I like them a lot. They feel very practical and realistic. Like you were trying to take these concepts and really bring them down to earth and get people to think about "what would it actually feel like for me to have this".
I've been pretty tired recently. Had a very busy week at work and then attended a pretty noisy/stressful party that pushed me past my limits. (I didn't anticipate that the prompt on energy maintenance would be so relevant to me this week, lol.) I've had a couple nice interactions with friends that have felt like they've balance things out a bit.
@QuietMagic
Honestly, not doing the best. I've been low today. I'm hoping tomorrow will be better. Regardless how I feel, I do well with opposite action these days. I still care for myself and take part in activities I enjoy even if I don't feel motivated to do them.
@QuietMagic
How are you doing today? finding myself kinda down in away. just lots going on offline and well being loney a lot. my family after we moved away from them in may of 2017. seem to have just dismissed us. but even when we lived close to them many family members did not take time to see us or even talk to us. only the ones who had and were abusing us seemed to want to talk to us and see us. this week this really getting to us. we know we did the right thing moving away from them. but seem like we have no family at all.
What gives you energy? going out to small group at church one day a week. just being around others that accepted me and not try to change me.
@stormieandpaws
Hi, that makes sense. Sounds like the move was kind of double-edged; it was the right thing to do to get away from abusive people, but it's also been pretty isolating feeling like you've lost your family because no one has tried to stay in touch (except the people you were trying to get away from in the first place).
That small group at church sounds fantastic, being able to belong and feel accepted while being what you are. 💜 (I wonder if that group ever feels sort of like a second family?)
