Have you noticed how Puddles have this magical pull on children!
As a child, when I saw a rain puddle. I had to jump into it. I had too!
While I was riding my bicycle, if I saw a puddle I had to ride through it. Again and again, it brought joy.

As a child jumping into puddles was pure joy and most entertaining. But then one day, we grow up. It’s no longer fun jumping into puddles. We now avoid them, even in our cars. We will drive around them, slow down before entering one. It is stressful and dreading with the thought of a puddle splashing. They soil our pants, and make our feet cold. It is Adult baggage. It all adds stress.

@Barltik2065 I, personally, don't think adults necessarily want to stop jumping in rain puddles. Rather, I think they just think it's frowned up because we are too old. However, I have always loved jumping in rain puddles and splashing. I still enjoy it and my kids do too. I don't think age should decide if we can continue or not. Another thing, I loved was playing in muddy puddles when I was young. Lol, awww the good times. ♡

🐾 Why is it that you think as adults we stop wanting to jump into puddles of water?....I probably did because as a female, I don't want to get dirty! lol...However, I jumped in one for the FIRST time in Years at the Beach over the summer.
🐾 What is something you use to think is fun?....Running around playing childhood games with the kids in the neighborhood until it got dark out.
🐾 What do you wish you could do again?....Talk to and spend time with my Grandparents, or Watch my son grow up again!
🐾 Are you a rule breaker?....Oh goodness yes! All of the time lol... I'm just not a rule follower. I've always "Marched to the beat of my own drum".

Why is it that you think as adults we stop wanting to jump into puddles of water? Well, as an adult, I know that I'll get my pretty clean shoes all dirty and then I'll be responsible for getting them clean.
🐾 What is something you use to think is fun? Lots of things that I still think are fun, like rollerskating.
🐾 What do you wish you could do again? jump rope--that's too hard on my leg joints
🐾 Are you a rule breaker? Most of the time I would say no

Oh Roller Skating, wow it has been decades since I did that. Did you go to rinks? Or just down the street. Never did down the street.
Since you are not a rule breaker, you like structure. Does that bring you comfort?

I wouldn't waste money on an old pair of shoes, but I would jump in the puddle if I had boots for the rain.
I used to go to rinks.
Following the rules keeps me calm. And it is good for the soul.

I seem to remember some Whitney Houston, Kool & The Gang, Bee Gees, Michael Jackson and few other groups that played when I was there.

Hi Lou! I love your small beagle here :) This is another wonderful thing about dogs/puppies - they are very willing to do silly things to help their humans to laugh, smile, or roll around on the floor with them :) Me too, I LOVE LOVE dogs!

Dogs are the best. Cyan you are on point with help their humans. I wouldn’t know what to do without mine

@Barltik2065, oh yes. I agree - those words! I am so thankful for my four-legged friends!!!! My canine family members are nearly as (if not sometimes more) important to & for me as my human family members!
And dogs are just amazing! okay, times about 3 gazillion! Thank you, God, for making dogs! I think they are pretty marvelous! Love Platy (and SST :)
