Recovering
Hey guys, just wanted to say tq for staying with me as a community in the past year, I've fully cured from split personality disorder and now I'm living my normal life. Tq y'all❤️

Hey, glad that things have been feeling better and more normal lately! Out of curiosity, what did you find helpful along the way that allowed things change and progress to where they are now?
I find the helpful voices of others and things that lower my fight or flight response helpful. Anything that causes flight or fight response is really trigger for split personality disorder switching. I find zen music and Japanese flute music really helpful too. It's usual to experience mind blocks or weird extra feeling right under the skin while experiencing multiple personality disorder. Having a news app lowers the dissociation between me and society, where having a music app enables me to have a safe space to save all my favorite music, including songs that motivate me. I want to say that it's perfectly normal and acceptable to experience personality disorders and no one really wants you to experience the discomfort that comes from suffering it. That's all, if there's anything else, I'll edit and add to this reply.

Makes sense, thanks for sharing. If I'm understanding, your experience has been that the fight-or-flight response tends to be a big trigger for dissociation, so leaning heavily into things that personally help with relaxation or grounding greatly reduces the underlying stress response that creates the need to dissociate.
