question

So this morning my son had a complete break down. Just sobbing over a haircut he didn't like. Later when I calmed him he said he didn't really even understand what came over him. He just refused all help and direction just sobbing for a good 15 minutes. I talked with him gently and held him. Is this pretty normal behaviour for bpd and did I handle this correctly. All input would be great. Thank you so much. #baffled#so worried
