❤️ No problem!

Here’s a couple things you can do. If you have a smartphone, you can:

  1. You can create new emails for additional safety, in case if anyone asks for it. (Save account information on paper to not lose it.)
  2. With the new created email, you can sign up for a free phone number services, like Text Now! (Save information on paper, as the same for email.)
  3. Don’t share too much information, like where you directly live, out of safety.
  4. Feel free to say “no” anytime, head over to 7 Cups chatrooms if you need immediate contact, or are feeling fearful.

Icebreaker ideas:

  • Start conversations by complimenting on appearance!
    • Compliments about hairstyle, hair color, fashion, graphics or media you recognize on shirts, etc.
  • Embrace awkwardness! You can say, “Sorry, I’m a little embarrassed right now.” Or “I’m very shy and awkward, so I’m a little anxious right now.”

Thank you for asking!

Unless I can figure out a way to get the tablet to work (never own a tablet before)  my Cousin gave me at our family reunion I wouldn't have access to the internet at the event.     I would just have the cell phone which is techinally mine,  but the parents borrow it occasionally- to call Dad to come and get me.  that one didn't access the internet.    Like the tablet wouldn't take calls, but could access the internet.

But what if I like a guy and actual wanted to give him a real phone number and not a fake one?

I would make it very clear it’s because it’s out of safety. (You also don’t have to tell him it’s out of safety, by the way. The general idea of burner numbers is so they don’t know your real number. I recommend giving it some time before handing off your real number to others.)

@Disneywoman

It seems there's limitations on free services. However, if able to I'd check out text Plus at least for free trial <3
