Perfectionism
A perfectionist is one thing we have become today because of always being said that we are not good enough. It is not a flaw that we expect everything to be perfect, but that is just not going to do any more good for our lives. Perfectionism can cause problems like procrastination, making us focus on perfection rather than completing tasks, leading to burnout, lower productivity, poor mental health, making it difficult to make decisions, reduced creativity, making us avoid challenges, and having more strained relationships. It is by recognizing the problems that we can free ourselves from the constraints of perfectionism. https://yourmentalhealthpal.com/survival-guide-on-how-to-stop-being-a-perfectionist/

Perfectionism can really destroy one's mental health. And it is important for people to gain awareness of their behaviours. The need to be perfect in everything one does can be energy consuming and depleting. It can even take away one's happiness in things when one is overly perfectionist.
Some lessons I have learned are to accept myself the way I am. There is no need to change the way I look, nor is there a need to change the way I do things. It's important to remember that we all make mistakes and come across failures and that is okay. These mistakes and failure help us learn a lot of things.
