Pianoman by Billy Joel for a few lyrics
"He's talking with Davey who's still in the navy and probably will be for life" because my dad is in the navy.
"Well I'm sure that I could be a movie star if I could get out of this place" because I've always wanted to act
"They're sharing a drink they call loneliness but it's better than drinking alone" because I've lost contact with all of my friends and nobody in my family is trustworthy of talking to.
Also the melody in Pianoman is just spectacular.
@Sunshinephoenix
I listen to really really old songs.
This is a song I like. There is someone I loved who's gone so I like it.The song is IT'S BEEN A LONG LONG TIME by Harry James and Kitty Kallen.
I was first introduced to this beautiful song in Avengers: Endgame where Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter dance to this song.
For me it's Home by Michael Buble. His voice, the lyric, and the song just works so well to my ear..always makes me calm and relaxed even in a hard and lonely time 😊

@Sunshinephoenix My fav type of song would be Vocaloid ones, especially since the ones I’ve been finding have such deeper meaning to me (though I seem to be drawn to sad ones)
one of my favorites being Totemo Itai Itagaritai (most translate it to Hurting for a Hurtful Pain)[the one with VY2V3 is one of my fav versions]
I feel that some parts relate to me in some way. One example being the wishing to tell about and share the pain, but can’t, another being believing that the pain will disappear, but it doesn’t
also, it’s just a great song, sounds amazing
(sorry about any typos, I have stayed up all night and I seem to not be as observant when it comes to error fixing haha)
All jim croce, I cannot believe how much I related to all his songs, his music is incredible and I couldn't suggest anyone better.
Some of his absolute best were; These dreams, dreaming again, seems like such a long time ago, operator (everyone has a story like that one), new Yorks not my home, recently, Thursday (if you cant relate to this than you are the luckiest human on the planet), I'll have to say I love you in a song, photographs and memories, and my favorite one of all (long name short song) a good time man like me ain't got no business singing the blues. It isn't like banjo country I assure you!. It's worth a listen. Been a fan for 3 years now and learned guitar just for his songs.
