You reached out on here whether in your bed or not and that's a HUGE thing. if you got dressed today, or showered, or brushed your hair... if you ate food, if you snuggled with your favorite person or pet... even if you only did ONE of these things today... you deserve to know that that is HUGE and some of us know that, and you're doing AWESOME! If I was more adept at this site - i'd send you huge gold stars... but for now, just know you deserve them.

Do not misunderstand me, danger is very real.

But fear...is a choice ⭐

I started my day out by dry heaving in the bathroom sink...anxiety attack big time! I was given good advice from a crisis hotline...tell your therapist everything...no more pleasing! I took that advice and my therapy session was great...hard but great. Now I'm curled up in warm robe, a scented candle is gently glowing in the corner and I actually ate dinner! What I have taken away from this day is that you can go from the depths of disfuction to positive self care. For me it took being given permission to honestly reach out. I'm passing that permission on.

I read this quote in a manga once, and I live by it now.
