Uplifting quotes & Inspiring Thoughts
I hope you can help me add uplifting and inspiring quotes here.

From my grandpa with Alzheimer's: "Everyone makes mistakes in life. And that's wonderful, because you get a new chance to see the sun shine from a new window"
This is just a wonderful quote. I'm going to save it.
The more chances you give someone the less respect they'll start to have for you. They'll begin to ignore the standards that you've set because they'll know another chance will always be given. They're not afraid to lose you because they know no matter what you won't walk away. They get comfortable with depending on your forgiveness. Never let a person get comfortable disrespecting you.
Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.
We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us.
Sometimes happiness sneaks in a door we did not know was open.
Sorry, I have to correct the last quote. It should be phrased:
"Happiness often sneaks in a door you did not think was open."
?A woman is like a tea bag; you never know how strong it is until it's in hot water.?
―Eleanor Roosevelt
?I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.?

"Never fear big long words. Big long words mean little things. All big things have little names, such as life and death, peace and war, or dawn, day, night, hope, love, home. Learn to use little words in a big way. It is hard to do, but they say what you mean. When you don't know what you mean, use big words -- that often fools little people."
--Arthur Kudner
No idea who actually said it but my father told it to me. It will be all right in the end - if it's not all right then it's not the end. I love that
"The struggle you're in today is developing the strength you need for tomorrow. Don't give up."
?Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.?

"A pearl is a beautiful thing that is produced by an injured life. It is the tear that resultsfrom the injury of the oyster. The treasure of our being in this world is also produced by an injured life. If we had not been wounded, if we had not been injured, then we will not produce the pearl."
Stephan Hoeller

On Finding a Turtle Shell in Daniel Boone National Forest
BY JEFF WORLEY
This one got tired
of lugging his fortress
wherever he went,
was done with duck and cover
at every explosion
through rustling leaves
of fox and dog and skunk.
Said au revoir to the ritual
of pulling himself together?
I imagine him waiting
for the cover of darkness
to let down his hinged drawbridge.
He wanted, after so many
protracted years of caution,
to dance naked and nimble
as a flame under the moon?
even if dancing just once
was all that the teeth
of the forest would allow.
