You aren't weird for thinking like you don't deserve good relationships, you'r only hooman, a hooman who has had experiences dealing with fakeness in people around and doesn't want to tolerate it anymore, it's the disappointment and hurt speaking, so again, no, hurt yes, disappointed, yes, hooman big time yes, but weird? nah!💛
You are deserving of genuine people and good relationships in your life. It's a very hooman thing to want that for yourself. Good people really can brighten lives, and it's nice to have the real ones around, so I really do hope you get to experience good people and genuine bonds also. Good changes are definitely needed hehe! Social media can really have such an influence on us, it has both good and bad in it, but if you recognize feeling lighter and better without it, I do hope you're able to create a healthy distance from it!
Aw yes, a protector is someone anyone would cherish having in their life.
People can think so much about us, and then other times, nothing at all, because everyone's got a life to live and better focus on their own, but having to restrict yourself or being unable to stay true to yourself in the fear of what others may think, even if they are covered under the "friend" tag, isn't easy at all, and you do do deserve to break-free from everything and everyone limiting your happiness and embracing your true self!
