Celebrating Milestones!
Celebrate Milestones!
We are all in recovery. 7 cups is all about empowering us to overcome. Some groups have celebrations for a month of sobriety. I think we should have the same for any kind of victory we've achieved. No accomplishment is too small to share. If you you are socially anxious and you made it through a shopping trip at the mall, then post it here! If you broke up with someone and are now feeling like your normal self again, then post it here. If you struggle with an addiction, and you've been clean a day, a week, a month, or a year, then post it here.
We need to celebrate our victories! Remember, it is okay to relapse - that is part of the journey - the key is to just take a step in the right direction.
We are all in this together! Let's celebrate with one another to highlight milestones passed :)
I sent an email to a therapist to hopefully set up an appointment. Doesn't sound like much but I hope it's a start.
That's a huge deal, one of the hardest steps!!! Well done you ❤️
I had my first appointment last Wednesday. I thought it went much better than I'd expected. I know it's hard to find a good one so that's a very promising sign.
Awww I'm so pleased, your on the right track. You have been so strong to get this far.... Keep pushing and sokn your be reaping the Benifits👍
I just got my first driving lesson! It was a piece of cake. Even the guy who learned me to drive was impressed because when he learned to drive he failed loads of times. He even asked me whether I had lessons before. Guess I have talent
So my milestone is realising I can't let this continue and I'm in need of help, so joining this. I hope in able to help you guys too x
I emailed a therapist recently too. I am finally thinking it is time to talk and try to get this somewhat under control for a change.
Good for you scarlet, I hope it all goes well for you :) best wishes honey you desurve it x
my milestone is finally being determined on correcting my binge eating habits. and starting to succeed at eating less/more healthy already. I can do this.
On may 24th, it will be exactly one year since I've stopped cutting. And honestly, im so proud I did because of the deformities its left on my legs. I run track so having scars makes me want to hide. I've had people from other schools make fun of my scars and fresh cuts from that time period.
Happy for you. No matter what scars you have, you are beautiful. ❤️
I am on my way of quieting drugs after 5 years. I'm only on my 3rd day but I'm making it so far my goal is 45. Wish me luck
Well done! You can do it :D ❤️ We're all with you
take it 1 day at a time

Its been one year since I had to have emergency surgery that nearly forced me to drop out of school. But here I am a year later, about to move to a big city, one college degree later :) I'm glad I didn't give up.
YAaay! Awesome news :D congrats!
2nd week day therapy. It's awesome! Why haven't I done this before? I cooked there twice, walked, listened to music and saw a movie. There are moments I'm bored though
